    • How Does CBD Work?

In the last twenty years, modern science has discovered a natural β€œreceptor” phenomenon in the human body β€” the EndoCannabinoid System β€” which scientists say may play a crucial role regulating our physiology, mood and everyday experience. The discovery of these receptors in the brain and immune system that respond to stimuli from cannabis, and the subsequent identification of molecules in our own bodies that bind to these receptors (endocannabinoids) – may have significantly advanced our understanding of human biology, health and disease.

There are two types of cannabinoid receptors in humans: CB1 and CB2. CB1 receptors are present in the brain and spinal cord and in certain peripheral tissues, while CB2 receptors are found primarily in the immune system. Some scientists think CBD may be β€” in addition to its binding with the CB1 receptors β€” the main non-psychoactive cannabinoid that binds the receptors in your immune system, thus possibly providing a variety of medicinal benefits.

According to studies, these products are shown to have positive effects on the body by interacting with the two known endocannabinoid receptors CB1 and CB2. These receptors are involved with memory, pain, motor skills and overall cognition as well as nervous system and other body systems such as immune system, thyroid, liver and uterus. It is believed that it encourages the body to produce more of its own endocannabinoids which in turn aid the body to heal, helping relieve pain and reduce anxiety and pain.

The Human Body Produces Cannabinoids, and CBD Oil Helps – Phytocannabinoids are cannabinoids derived from plants. Endocannabinoids are cannabinoids produced naturally in the human body. One example of an endocannabinoid is anandamide, or β€œthe bliss molecule”. This molecule activates the CB1 receptor. Benefits to activating this receptor include: relieving depression, increasing myelin formation, lowering intestinal inflammation, decreasing intestinal permeability, lowering blood pressure, lowering anxiety. Anandamide has been shown to promote anti-anxiety and anti-depressant effects, and increases neurogenesis. It also plays a role in memory and forgetting.

CBD Oil Effects Several Neurotransmitter Receptors – There are two types of cannabinoid receptors in humans: CB1 and CB2. CB1 receptors are present in the brain and spinal cord and in certain peripheral tissues, while CB2 receptors are found primarily in the immune system. These receptors are present in most, if not all, of our cells and are so basic to our fundamental biochemistry that they are also found in all mammalian species as well. They exist for a reason and are tightly linked to our immune system, which is so critical to our ability to fight and resist disease. Some scientists think CBD may be, in addition to it’s binding with the CB1 receptors, the main non-psychoactive cannabinoid that binds the receptors in your immune system, thus possibly providing a variety of medicinal benefits.

CBD Oil May Help with Clinical Endocannabinoid Deficiency (CECD) – CECD is a condition where in individual has a lower amount of endogenous cannabinoids than is considered necessary to promote health and well-being.

CBD Oil has Numerous Natural Benefits – Cannabidiol is one the many cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant, and a lot of the research has found it to be a promising potential therapy for many illnesses that the medical community has previously thought to be untreatable.

CBD is but one part of the Entourage Effect – the Entourage Effect describes the phenomenon where over 400 compounds in cannabis work in concert to have a synergistic effect on the body. It is the sum of its parts that make cannabis so effective. For example, 100mg of isolated CBD may be substantially less effective at alleviating symptoms than 100mg of a whole-plant cannabis extract. While it may be cheaper and more cost effective to extract CBD from industrial hemp, users may ultimately experience fewer benefits due to the absence of clinically significant levels of terpenes and other compounds which occur in abundance in high- CBD cannabis. New World CBD prides itself in the fact that all of their products are FULL SPECTRUM.

    • What Are Cannabinoids?

Cannabidiol, (CBD) is a naturally occurring chemical compound found in the cannabis plant. These products are unlike other cannabinoids as it is non-psychoactive meaning it does not have a high or euphoric response in the body. The human body is made of a endocannabinoid system, which is responsible for regulating immune system response, pain and sleep functions. This system receives and interprets signals from cannabinoids, while it also produces some of its own cannabis-like molecules known as endocannabinoids. According to studies, these products are shown to have positive effects on the body by interacting with the two known endocannabinoid receptors CB1 and CB2.

Cannabinoids are the primary compounds produced by the plant genus, Cannabis (Hemp), which is believed to be one of the oldest domesticated agricultural crops, and is arguably the most amazingly versatile plant in the world.

Through selective breeding, hemp has been cultivated for thousands of years to produce many valuable commodities, including textiles, building materials, fuel, and food. In addition, breeders have purposely developed strains with high amounts of medicinal cannabinoids, especially CBD. Scientific studies have identified 108 cannabinoids with different properties and herbal effects.

Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the most well-known cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant, renowned for its psychoactive and pain-killing qualities. But unknown to many, there are several other(non-hallucinogenic) cannabinoids which include CBC, CBD, CBG, CBN. Among these, CBD is the most studied and celebrated.

THC is the only psychoactive/hallucinogenic cannabinoid; the term β€œmarijuana” refers only to varieties of cannabis that contain substantial amounts of THC, while strains that are high in CBD with only trace amounts (0.3% or below) of THC are called Agricultural/Industrial Hemp. Why? Because while CBD has been shown to possibly have wonderful health benefits, it does not cause a psychotropic β€œhigh” or euphoria at all. Instead, studies appear to indicate that CBD may quell anxiety and boost mood by promoting a sense of calmness and ease without distorting mental cognition or causing you to feel β€œstoned” or out of the ordinary.

    • What is CBD?

CBD is a main component of cannabis. Cannabidiol (CBD) is a primary component of cannabis. It is one of more than several hundred compounds unique to the plant and grouped under the umbrella term β€œcannabinoids”. CBD and THC are the most prominent cannabinoids found in cannabis, and therefore, have undergone the heaviest scientific study.

    • Will CBD Get Me "High"?

Hemp CBD oil will not make you "high". CBD does not cause the feeling of being β€œhigh” that is often associated with cannabis. The high is caused by THC found predominantly in the cousin marijuana plant. Because of this, it is the perfect option for parents, workers, and anyone else who does not want to compromise their mental clarity. CBD offers non-toxic, virtually side-effect free, natural benefits for individuals who want to avoid or reduce the number of pharmaceuticals they are taking.

    • Is CBD Legal?

The short answer for New World Wellness CBD products is YES! Here are some details why, and

what you need to look for within current Federal and State laws when buying CBD products.

      What Is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring compound found in the Cannabis sativa plant. Unlike tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the compound responsible for the psychoactive "high" associated with marijuana, CBD is non-intoxicating. It has become one of the most widely sold wellness ingredients in the United States, appearing in oils, capsules, gummies, topicals, beverages, and pet products.

The Federal Foundation: The 2018 Farm Bill

Hemp-derived CBD is legal under federal law when derived from cannabis containing no more than 0.3% delta-9 THC by dry weight, a threshold set by the 2018 Farm Bill. That law drew a legal line between "hemp" (low-THC cannabis) and "marijuana" (high-THC cannabis), removing hemp and its derivatives β€” including CBD β€” from the Controlled Substances Act Schedule I.

However, federal legality has never meant unrestricted access. The FDA still has not approved CBD for use in food or dietary supplements, having approved only Epidiolex for specific medical conditions. This creates an ongoing regulatory gap: CBD can be legally grown and sold, but how it may be marketed remains a contested area.

Federal Levels: A Major Change Coming: November 12, 2026

The legal landscape is undergoing its most dramatic shift since 2018. On November 12, 2025, Congress enacted significant changes to the regulation of hemp-derived products under Section 781 of a Continuing Resolution, which take effect on November 12, 2026.

Two key changes arrive on that date:

      • First, the amended definition replaces the prior delta-9 threshold with a "total THC" standard. Hemp is now defined as Cannabis sativa L. with a total THC concentration β€” inclusive of THCA and delta-8 THC β€” of not more than 0.3% on a dry weight basis.

ALL New World Wellness CBD Products Meet this Criteria today!

      • Second, starting November 12, 2026, a new per-container limit of 0.4 milligrams of total THC will apply to all finished hemp-derived products.

Once again: ALL New World Wellness CBD products exceed this new limit!

To note, and for you to be aware, NO products containing synthetic or lab-manufactured cannabinoids will qualify as hemp.

All New World Wellness products are made without any synthetic ingredients. We are all natural, all the time.

The practical effect: the vast majority of hemp-derived cannabinoid products currently on the market will become federally unlawful as of November 12, 2026. Pure CBD products with zero or non-detectable THC are the least affected by these changes and represent the clearest path to continued compliance. New World Wellness is ready so you can continue using our CBD products in your wellness journey.

State Levels: Where It Gets Complicated

Federal law establishes a floor, not a ceiling. States retain authority to impose stricter rules β€” or more permissive ones β€” than the federal standard.

As of the most recent data, 24 states and the District of Columbia allow CBD products without additional state-level restrictions beyond federal hemp standards. In 20 states, CBD is legal only under specific conditions β€” either limiting access to registered medical patients or restricting products to low-THC formulations meeting strict state thresholds.

      Here is the current breakdown:

Fully legal ~25 states β€” no extra restrictions beyond federal regulations:

Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico,NewΒ Β York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and West Virginia.

Hemp-derived CBD including broad-spectrum and isolate products are freely available for adults. Zero-THC and ND-THC products are the least restricted.

Conditional ~20 states β€” extra rules apply:

Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Utah, West Virginia, Tennessee, Texas, Wisconsin.

Access may require a medical program, an age restriction (e.g. Texas: 21+), licensed retailers, or stricter THC thresholds. Zero-THC (CBD isolate) products are typically still permitted even in states with tighter rules.

ALL New World Wellness CBD products have Zero, Non-Detectable THC Content!

      Restrictive or unclear ~6 states:

Idaho, Kansas, Nebraska, North Carolina, South Carolina, Wyoming

Idaho is the strictest β€” products must contain absolutely zero detectable THC and be derived from specific plant parts only. Nebraska, Wyoming, South Carolina, and Kansas are in flux; verify before purchasing.

β˜… Products with Zero THC or Non-Detectable THC are The Safest Choice Regardless of State!

For consumers concerned about legality, drug testing, or living in a restrictive state, zero-THC

and non-detectable (ND) THC CBD products offer the broadest protection. Here is what to

      look for:

      • CBD Isolate The purest form of CBD β€” a crystalline powder containing 99%+ cannabidiol with no other cannabinoids, terpenes, or THC. CBD isolate products are legal in the widest range of states, including Idaho, and carry no risk of triggering a THC drug screen. They are ideal for anyone subject to workplace testing or living in a state with a strict zero-THC standard.

      • Broad-Spectrum CBD (ND-THC) Broad-spectrum products retain a range of cannabinoids and terpenes from the hemp plant β€” thought to produce a beneficial "entourage effect" β€” but undergo additional processing to remove THC to non-detectable levels. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) from an accredited laboratory will show "ND" (non-detectable) or "0.00%" for THC. Broad-spectrum and isolate products contain zero or undetectable THC, and a product that contains only CBD and zero THC will not trigger a positive result on a standard workplace urine drug screen.

      • Zero-THC Topicals Creams, balms, roll-ons, and salves formulated with CBD isolate or ND-THC broad-spectrum extract are subject to fewer state regulations than ingestible products and are not absorbed systemically in meaningful quantities. They are a practical choice for consumers who want localized relief with minimal legal complexity.

What to look for on the label:

      • "CBD Isolate" or "Broad Spectrum (THC-Free/Non-Detectable/ND THC)"

      • QR code linking to a third-party Certificate of Analysis

      • Lab results showing Total THC: ND or 0.00%

      • Manufactured in a cGMP-certified facility

      Drug Testing Considerations

Standard workplace urine drug screens test for THC metabolites, not CBD. Because THC metabolites can remain detectable in urine for weeks, even small amounts consumed unknowingly over time can accumulate to the point where a drug screen comes back positive. Employers are generally not required to distinguish between THC from marijuana and THC from a legal hemp product.

If you are subject to drug testing, CBD isolate or independently verified ND-THC broad- spectrum products are the only categories that reliably eliminate this risk.

      The Bottom Line

CBD derived from hemp remains federally legal today, but the rules are tightening. A sweeping change in November 2026 will render most intoxicating hemp products illegal at the federal level. Products containing zero or non-detectable THC β€” CBD isolate and broad-spectrum formulas verified by a third-party lab β€” are the most legally durable options, accepted

under current law and best positioned for compliance under the new rules.

Always verify your state's current regulations before purchasing, as laws are shifting rapidly.

When in doubt, consult a licensed attorney familiar with cannabis and hemp law in your

      jurisdiction.

You are always safe with New World Wellness CBD Products!
